I don’t recall an official announcement, but Google’s Quick Share page on Android.com claims the app is coming soon to Windows 11 on Arm. This isn’t as big a deal as getting Google Drive on Windows 11, of course, but every step forward is still a step forward.
“For Windows computers running a 64-bit version of Windows 10 and up,” the Quick Share page reads. “Quick Share is newly available on ARM-based devices with Windows 11 and up.”

It may be available, but it’s not a native Arm app (at least not yet): When I installed this on my Surface Laptop, it worked fine, and I was able to send files back and forth in either direction between the laptop and my Pixel 9 Pro XL. But when I looked at it using the Details pane in Task Manager, it identified the app–the EXE still uses its old name, Nearby Share–as an x64 app. (Google originally launched this app on Windows in mid-2023 as Nearby Share.)
Anyway, it does work, so that’s good. But I need my Google Drive app, and I’m curious that we’ve not seen any updates since Google agreed to that port as well.
